First weekend at Dad's House for 2007 (January 5) was packed with fun for everyone!
After a some artistic finger painting creations outside on the patio, we moved inside to change mediums. Who doesn't love a bit of face-painting?
Tara helped Poppi with the "butterflys" on her cheeks, while Poppi "tatooed" Dad's head.
Saturday was a big day out for everyone. After a trip to the Kidspace Park at Chermside, it was back to Dad's house for more face painting!
Sunday morning's highlight was the discovery of Vanilla Yoghurt in the 'fridge! How excited can two small persons get? Excited enough to polish off a litre of it in a few short minutes! (And even to get most of it in their mouths!)
After some tasty brekkie, Dad climbed into the Jumping Castle (Christmas pressie) with Poppi & Hunter for a bit of a wrestle. (Can you think of a better way to work up a sweat than playing with young'uns inside of a giant plastic blow-up toy?)
Well, that sums up our first edition. We'll get used to the layout and functions of this platform and work towards making it look as good as the full-print version of the Balmforth Bulletin. Bear with us as we work out the bumps! :-)
